Rincon del Mar is a small fishing village located on the caribbean coast of Colombia, in the Gulf of Morrosquillo. The perfect place to enjoy a trip to the Archipelago of San Bernardo Corals National Park and Islands, snorkling, scuba diving, remote beaches, deserted islands, and the local culture.

There are a few seasons to keep in mind when visiting Rincon del mar. National tourists come from different parts of Colombia to "la costa" to enjoy their holidays. The high seasons are Christmas which runs from December through January, Easter (Semana Santa), and mid year vacations in July. During Semana Santa there are a number of events which are held by the local government including a beauty pageant, music concerts, aquatic sport competitions, amongst others.

During the low season Rincon is the ideal place to get off the beaten path and take some time to relax and enjoy some quality snorkling/ diving, delicious local cuisine, and get a nice tan while realxing on the beach.
